Someone complains that it smells of gin. I instantly place it in the basket.
I'm not sure on the scent, it's not overpowering and certainly wasn't good or bad enough for me to remember. however I was so relaxed in my bath I felt like I was floating! a truly wonderful experience! a little pricey so I'll stock up when it's on offer. l
Smells Like Gin
Yes, this bath foam smells like gin. At first I thought maybe I was imagining it, but I got everyone in the house to smell it and we all agreed it smells like gin. Not even flavoured or fruity gin, just proper, gordons, run of the mill, gin. So if you like your baths to smell like gin then have at it - I personally do not.
I love this product. Yes it is expensive, but you don't need a lot. I often have bruised shins and knees after kick boxing and it's a soothing soak at the time, but have found it reduces the healing time. Great for summer dresses
Was really disappointed with this, especially considering how much it costs and the brilliant reviews below! Really odd smell, not that unpleasant, but not a smell I personally found relaxing, smelled kind of musty. I was also surprised at the serious lack of bubbles, so far I've had two baths in this and both times the bubbles lasted hardly no time at all. I have had more bubbles out of a much cheaper brand that smelled a lot better. Would definitely not buy it again!
Wonderful bathing experience!
I initially tried this as I was bought it as a present, but am hooked, the smell is quite natural due to the ingredients used and quite different to the highly perfumed more common 'off the shelf' varieties and some people might find that a bit strange, but it is just so wonderfully restoring, it turns bathing into a really enjoyable and restorative experience. Yes it does cost a fair bit but it is so worth it!
