Preparation and Usage
Spinach will reduced quite drastically when cooked so allow about 200g per person. To cook, place in a pan (with no extra water) and cook on low for 5 minutes. You might need to then press and drain any extra liquid. Alternatively, try them sauteed with garlic and pinenuts.

The real deal
Don't listen to negative reviews. If you're Mediterranean and you know what spinach should be like, this is the real deal. Yes, these are unwashed so they don't dissolve away by the time they get to you, and yes you need to wash them as they're clearly grown in real soil. I've ordered them for a long time now, they're really good and fresh, leaves are more robust and don't dissolve away when cooked, and so full of proper spinach flavour. This is real spinach and how spinach used to taste before the nonsense hibrid small leaves were engineered ! And the stalks and stems... they are also spinach, they add a great texture, that's how real spinach should be!
so many weird clear particles stuck to the leaves!
Literally the whole 200g bag was covered in this clear/see-through dust like particles. Washing doesnt remove it and its like its stuck to the leaves! This isnt the first time this has happened either! Iv given up now, no point keep buying and getting refunds for a poor product
Not large leaf at all
This was not large leaf spinach. The leaves were small and too many stalks too.
Bibimbap
So happy Ocado sell these!! Perfect spinach to make Korean spinach salad or bibimbap. I used it to make Japchae this time.
Proper spinach!
The doctor recommended me to eat this vegetable as source of acid folic and iron. They are proper spinach: the leaves are not all the same and they have the stalks. They are very similar to the ones my mother buys in Italy at the market. I will buy them again.
Improved recently \- really good spinach
The quality of spinach has improved greatly in the last few weeks, it's fresh, hasn't been prewashed and is organic. Lasts at least 3 days in the fridge I find - I wash it in cold water and dry using a lettuce spinner and it's ready to use. Would recommend.
