not Brazilian! but ok
Brazilians dont use peppers or cumin or even chilli in their black beans!!!! Ridiculous! Is not horrible if you like a little spicy you will enjoy this. I just think is wrong to call it Brazilian beans.
In no way Brazilian !!
I have been with my partner for over 20 years and she is a Brazilian. She laughed out loud when I read her the list of ingredients. These are nice enough, but they are in no way Brazilian. Brazilians don't put red peppers, tomatoes or cumin in their beans. They do put pork and bay leaves, neither of which are present here. Gave us a good laugh anyway !!
NOT Brazilian style
I was so excited to find these, normally I love Mr Organic products. Firstly, Brazilian beans are NOT in any way ever spicy hot, this might be Mexican style, but not Brazilian. Secondly, after a while it tastes very artificial and not enjoyable. This was a big disappointment sadly.
Great!
First time trying these beans and hubby and I were both very impressed! We used them with shredded chicken, sweetcorn, rice and guacamole to make a delicious Mexican style dish. Very quick and tasty! Will be buying again.
Easy meal
I use this to make a super quick chilli meal by adding mince and paprika
so tasty!
as previous reviewer say, they make a very quick, easy and delicious meal! i like them heated up, then some sliced celery and sunflower seeds added for crunhiness, and a dollop of sheep yoghurt. soooo nice! they have a gentle heat...could use instead of baked beans or in a chilli, casserole, shepherds pie, anything really! theyre lovely
