The best of its kind
Fruit loaf is a favourite, and this is a really good one. Texture is perfect balance of moist and crumble, and so much fruit packed in.
Awful!
This is truly awful, Ive never encountered a sponge consistency like this before - Id liken it to a cheap bathroom sponge. The flavour is weird too. Honestly, I think flash sales are to get rid of stock thats gone wrong as this is nothing Id expect from M&S
Amazing cake
Always buy one of these cakes. Cherries are few, but it doesn’t matter as the cake is moist and tasty with the sultanas. Love the cake.
Adequate
but only if you ignore the misleading name. This is a sultana cake - possibly chemical analysis might detect a presence of glace cherries but the taste buds won't. It lacks the moistness of a fruit cake and ends up a disappointment

This is a favourite in our household, its a delicious cake, with a nice amount of fruit and lovely buttery cake it also keeps well.
