One of the best examples of shortbread ever! Not bad value for money. I buy occasionally as a treat from me to me!
Not Nice
I have had sweeter, richer biscuits than this. I wouldn't have this with a cup of tea. just as well they are mostly going as a base for a cheesecake.
Horrible
I expected good things as I love the chocolate chip M&S shortbread, but this is one of the worst I've ever eaten. It may have been a bad batch, but it tasted like the butter was rancid and left a horrible after taste. The texture was average, but for the price, I'd have expected to want to have to show restraint and not eat the lot. Instead, all but half a square went in the bin. Walkers is much better.
