bulky and stays wet
it's not particularly nice to wear. the frill is unflattering, and once wet it takes ages to dry out

If youre reading the reviews wondering whether this shower cap will fit on the 12 inch mixing bowl you use for proving your bread dough - yes, it does :-)
Improved
I bought this a while ago and was good apart from a bit small. Has been made bigger and better, a useful practical design. It does have a tendency to get mould if you don't dry it properly so dry carefully e.g near an open window or radiaitor and use a mould remover if it develops any black spots
Great shower cap
This shower cap works very well at keeping hair dry, having a plastic layer underneath the outer cotton. It is elasticated so the fit is snug but it is not tight enough to be painful. Like most new materials, the cotton does release a slight chemically smell the first few times it is wet but this is not too off-putting. The product is clearly well-made and is definitely worth the £5 price tag, and although the design makes me look like a Victorian chambermaid when wearing it I would definitely recommend to others!
Suits my needs
Protects my hair from steam and water splashes while in bath or shower. Fabric outer with waterproof lining so ok with hook off shower head but perhaps not with fixed head deluge shower, which I use for hair washing.
Sodden Shower Cap
Revolting to use two days in a row. Its like a sponge and absorbs all the water which when used the next day dribbles cold water. Also doesnt accommodate long hair. In the bin it goes
