Bitter

Ok, so I have bought this wine several times and each bottle seems to be different. It is definitely a bitter wine - some bottles have been palatable (for a cheap bottle of plonk) and others have literally tasted so acidic its upset my tummy - not nice at all and has been poured down the sink. I dont expect much from a £6.50 bottle of red but consistency would be good.

easy to drink and light

Im not a fan of heavy reds , this is light, easy to drink and great value for money.

Very acidic

Wouldn't purchase again. Left to breathe and strong smell of plum but the taste is lacking in depth and too acidic.
