Not bad
I thought redeeming this product was only fair. I got it sent as a replacement and having seen reviews accepted it reluctantly but it’s not bad at all. Might be a bit on the dry side, like many gf products but not overly so. Tasty and enjoyable overall.
Arrived mouldy
Having seen good reviews we thought wed try these - not much more to say other than ours arrived mouldy with three days inside use by date. Straight to the bin!
The ONLY maize and gluten free bread
This is literally the ONLY GF bread commercially available that is also maize/cornflour free. Tesco used to do one but change the recipe and oddly the M&S loaf with a similar name also has maize - no idea why this is but for those with wheat and maize allergies choices are practically non-existent and this one is so often out of stock or gets substituted with unsuitable alternatives.
Love these!
Since knowing I am gluten intolerant I have tried many GF breads and rolls. I have struggled to find something that doesn't make me feel I am seriously missing out. Even tried making my own, absolute disaster! I take a packed lunch to work and have found it a real chore to come up with alternatives to rolls/sandwiches every single day. And then I found these absolutely delicious squares of authentic tasting seeded bread. They freeze well, it's easy to remove one at a time. Yes they are expensive but what GF bread isn't. I cannot recommend them enough, thank you so much M&S.
very thin!!
These are disappointing, they are so thin and very difficult to separate top from bottom without ending up with it breaking. However I think they taste ok, but wont buy again.
Waste of time and money
These would be good but they are SO hard to separate without breaking them. I almost ended up throwing one across the room. Not fit for purpose Im afraid
