Healthier pesto
I buy this pesto because it has more protein and less salt than most other pestos, and all the oil in it is olive oil - and I like the taste too. One of the rare occasions when an M&S labelled product is better than the branded versions.

why add sugar?
shame sugar is added to this, otherwise it's a lovely product.

Good luck opening it!
This is a decent enough pesto - my only gripe is that it is damn near impossible to open. I have never had so much difficulty opening a jar. Please address this issue, M&S!

Boring
We found this very dull and disappointing. It has all the right ingredients but doesn't taste of much. It's not very basil-y.

No seed or cheap filler oils
Finally premade sauce without cheap fillers. Unfortunately jar is literally impossible to open!!
