Unpalatable
I loved the old recipe with Belgian chocolate, but not this new one. They are overly soft & sickly sweet with no complexity of flavour. Very disappointing, especially for the price.
Oh my!
These are utterly delicious, the taste like toffee, almond and citrus and melt in the mouth. Im ashamed to say that I ate the whole box myself. The only thing that lets them down slightly is the raisins, which dont add anything, but thats probably personal taste.
Utterly Delicious
First time trying a florentine - oh my, super delicious and festive. The blondie and chocolate were both lovely. Will definitely buy these again!

I am updating this review as since I posted the one that follows they have reduced the number of florentines from 9 to 8!!! Note - still the same price. Here is the original review:- Oh my G_ way too nice. Very addictive. Yes they work out at 50p each but they are worth it. My local bakery sells florentines for more than 50p and they are nowhere near as good as these. I'm not a Florentines fan but I absolutely love these.
