So Tasty ate straight from the tin. Absolutely delicious
Delicious
I love having mackerel on toast for breakfast sometimes but the normal packs of peppered mackerel I get have large portions which would suffice for two days breakfast so I am forced to eat for two days on the trot when I might not want it. This seemed the perfect solution and it is! As previously stated it does come in a lot of bright yellow British rapeseed oil but I just used this to put onto the dried toast as I dont use butter. Two pieces but 1 fillet of fish overall, went onto 1 piece of toast and a bit left over so I toasted the crust and used the extra for this small piece. Very tasty and not overly peppery, though I hate taking the skin off! No mackerel smell either when the tin was opened. The tin I had had a very long expiry date,October 2028. This will be a staple in the cupboard for when I fancy this for breakfast. Expensive for such a small quantity but extremely handy and no wastage
Delicious but tin is 50% oil.
No need tobe swimming in oil.
