Actually worth it
Its a subtle difference in texture and taste but I can taste it.
amazing
Best basmati rice on the market in my opinion! Bonus points for fully recyclable packaging. Decanted the rice in the airtight container upon opening though, as I was conscious itll start tasing cardboardy.
Good but not great
My first time cooking this I followed the directions as to cooking time and it was boardering on mush. Covering it in any way would have completely ruined it. I cook for much shorter a time , drain and then depending on the texture either air dry it or just cover it slightly. When not over done it is still a very soft rice still not having a great deal of taste. I'm going to stick with my big name brand as I prefer more bite .
Fragrant Rice
Lovely basmati, very fragrant. Tastes great. The carboard box annoys me as the first time you open it along the perforations about a third of the way down the box, rice falls out. Also, when I go tolift the box ou of cupboard I have to remmebr to lift it by the side as the cardboard top just lifts off. My daughter spilt rice everywhere. The lid is meant to be used as a measuring up but I'd rather have perforations at the top of the box that only went halfway round.
