Instructions
Do not reheat.; Hob - From Chilled. 35 mins
Remove carton. Place unopened pudding in a saucepan, place tin foil over the top and fill with hot water, halfway up the pudding.
Cover with a lid and steam.
Do not allow to boil dry.; Oven cook - From Chilled. Electric 180°C, Fan 160°C, Gas 4, 25 mins
Preheat oven and baking tray.
Remove from the carton, leave in the mould. Place on baking tray.

Great little pie
I cooked mine in the oven as per instructions but wasnt expecting much. A nice surprise to have crispy old fashioned pastry for a change. Glad it doesnt come with kidney too.
Disappointing
Have had this twice now and cooked it both ways it says on the packaging- it lacks any kind of flavour and very little gravy. Wont be having it again.

Steam it in a saucepan
I bought this in a flash sale. I have a big appetite but thought that one per person was plenty with mash and veg. It's a tasty little pudding and does have that authentic suet texture when steamed in a pan as per instructions. The filling is rich and nicely seasoned - and thankfully no kidney. I think £3 is a little steep but I would buy again if on sale.
Lovely but very pricey
I love suet pastry, but hate kidney, so its nice that theres a steak only option. Got on a flash sale and thought they were lovely. Just enough for one, but my husband could have done with two! Very tasty, I wouldnt buy at full price though because they are pretty small.
Small but tasty
Had couple times and really enjoyed, I love a suet steak pudding and these didn’t disappoint. Good filling, no nasty bits, tasty pastry.
