Really good
I am surprised at the other reviews. Well, not really. I am not impressed with M&S food about 90% of the time (man I miss Waitrose) and usually leave a scathing review. These however, were gorgeous! For me these came out crispy and tasty and I would buy again. I did bake them the recommended time (30 minutes) and then left them in the hot oven after it had turned off for maybe another 10 minutes, maybe that helped the crispiness? But I found these really tasty and good. Makes a change from most of M&S's other offerings.
soggy rolls
cooked these in air fryer were soggy no better than cheaper spring rolls
soggy spring roll
The other M&S spring rolls are better (£5.50). These are very sad soggy spring rolls.
unpleasant
Pastry was hard and nasty like cardboard, filling did not taste nice.
just okay
Received for review They tasted good, but were quite soggy which was a disappointment.
M&S really?
Youd expect M&S products to be top quality, however the pastry is too soggy and soft even with Deep frying and trying it in an air fryer. The filling itself bland, the pastry needs to be changed to something crispier.
