It was my favorite but the price getting higher and higher increasing in a ridiculous way.
As for the ignorant moaning about price: The reason olive oil is getting so expensive (apart from the ridiculously ineffectual sanctions put on Russia) is due to drought that wrecked much of the olive harvest. This was followed by torrential rain, which trashed yet more of the crop & then disease set in. So, nobody is laughing at your expense, nobody is ripping you off and whilst you think you're suffering due to the price increase, there are olive farmers whose families have been growing olives for generations that are losing everything they worked for, their entire livelihood. You think it's expensive now, you ain't seen nothing yet.
This is absolutely lovely olive oil, the best in fact but this insane price increase is pure greed by Ocado. It's not just this but across the board on what they sell. You will loose customers at this rate , if you haven't already
Absolutely disgusting behaviour from Ocado. A price hike overnight of nearly 3 quid! Completely ridiculous - will be buying from Waitrose from now on. Why are your prices more expensive than Waitrose!? You will lose customers fast with all these price hikes. Gorgeous olive oil by the way, nothing wrong with the taste of this beautiful oil.
I love the retracting 'drizzler' under the lid that makes it so easy to pour a little. A Spanish olive shortage is the reason for the price hike.
