Undrinkable

As far as we are concerned this was undrinkable and had to throw away.

A fair example.

No issues with this at all. A reasonable Monte for the price. Supple, with plum notes and a subtle smokiness. I am on my fourth bottle as of writing, and will likely keep a few in reserve for days when complexity is not required.
