The Kilner® Wide Mouth Preserve Jar is perfect for storing and preserving healthy, home grown foods. Featuring a 2-piece lid system which comprises of a tin disc and screw band ensuring a secure vacuum seal is achieved, keeping the contents fresher for longer. The jar capacity is 1 litre / 1000ml which is perfect for preserving large, whole fruits and vegetables. The wider opening allows for easy filling and decanting.
The jar has embossed ML volume indicators on the side and enhanced with the authentic Kilner® embossed logo on the front.

These lids are really annoying!
These jars look great and are a good shape but the lids are really frustrating! The lid is in two parts - a flat circular piece and then a ring that separately goes on top to turn and seal the jar. I've tried doing it every way possible but the two parts often run against each other and get stuck- I would love these jars with a normal lid!

Impossible to find replacement lids the right size
Not available on any website, including Kilner's.

Perfect size to keep the berries fresh
I was looking for a large jar to keep the berries fresh for longer. This jar is a perfect size, 1l but tall and slim so it doesn't take much space in the fridge. I'll be buying more!
