Although these were well within date they had already gone grey around the edges and the smell was dreadful. I have tried the Marks and Spencer venison meatballs which were OK but these were a waste of money. Avoid unless you want your house to stink of pungent rancid foulness.

really good

If id read the reviews before buying id have been put off but i rate them 10/10. I enjoyed cooking these meatballs in a stew - they were delicious and held their shape despite being in the oven for a long time. Would definitely recommend and buy them again.

What a delicious list of UPF ingredients: Methylcellulose, Emulsifiers E450, E451, Dextrose, Anti-oxidant E301, E330, Preservative E221 (Sodium Sulphite). In future I'll read the ingredients list before buying, as I would in a supermarket. Straight in the bin these go.

Tasty and Good Quality

Tried these as believe we should all be eating this lean natural meat, instead if importing beef from abroad! we loved the flavour, game meat does have a 'high' smell and us hung so the smell is to be expected, used them for a pasta dish, excellent rich flavour, will definitely buy again, tastes as meat should instead of bland!!
