This isn't bad but it's not as good as the Santal apricot juice. It doesn't have the same depth of flavour and is a tad watery.
Reminder of Italian beaches
I can never eat in the heat, so I used to exist on the lusciousness of this Italian fruit drink. It's sweet but it's thirst quenching too. Has to be served chilled to the max. A treat.
Putting puree in the description is misleading
The other Granini juices do not have themselves styled this way so I expected the thick fruit juice that a previous reviewer mentioned - it wasn't thick, the only gorgeous thick fruit puree drink of this group is the Banana one - where is it, please bring it back?!
Why add sugar?
Apricots are one of my favourite fruits so I was delighted to find an apricot juice. However, this is far too sweet! There is added sugar! Why? Apricots are flavoursome and sweet enough already without adding sugar. What could and should have been a delicious fruit juice was ruined. It ended up down the sink!
If you've travelled around in Italy you will have come across this type of juice- fruit juice Italian style , "succo di frutta" - thick and substantial, made by using the whole fruit, including the pulp, of peaches, pears or apricots. Simply delicious. It can be drunk on its own- chilled, on ice- or mixed in cocktails. There is nothing quite like it in the UK and I'm really glad Ocado is stocking it. May this be always the case!
Excellent taste for a juice which is hard to get in England. Thank you Ocado!
