Tastes off
This used to be my favourite cheese. But a couple of month's ago I had to bin it. Like another reviewer said, it had a strange smell and flavour. I've just braced myself and bought another couple of blocks. Same thing. Smells and tastes like it's been stored by a warm radiator. In the bin again. Shame.
Tasty cheese
I really like this, the pepper adds a nice tang to the cheese and I am a fan of Godminster's mature cheddar anyway, so it is a win-win for me. A regular buy.
unusual
Its certainly peppery and unlike any cheddar Ive ever had. Not for me.
strange smell and flavour
I had this once before and it was super lovely and tasty! But this time I am not sure if I got a bad batch, it tasted awful and was very pungent

Excellent balance
Not the cheapest cheese on the planet, but really good. Lovely balance of cheese, and quite strong black pepper. This will become a regular purchase.
