Double-ended so you can create thick or thin spirals of courgette or carrot, this hand-held Gefu Spirelli Spiralizer works like a pencil sharpener and is just the right size to fit in a kitchen drawer when not in use.
Ideal for smaller quantities, a simple twist action produces looping coils in either 2x3mm or 3.5x5mm sizes, leaving only the end of the vegetable uncut when you're finished.
Stainless steel blades and quality plastic body.

waste of money
cut my fingers and images on box are misleading
beware your fingers!
This gadget does not work: you have to push the vegetable in, while turning it. Beware your fingers on the side 'blades', and as you near the end of said vegetable. It's the cheapest spiraliser for a reason. Hold your money and save up for a proper spiraliser.
Wastes more than it produces
The huge hole in the middle means that most of your veg will not be spiralised but will end up as a long core pushed out at the end. A design fault which is silly, because it would be extremely easy to produce something that doesn't waste so much.
Very disappointing - waste of money!
Good for courgettes, but not much else - certainly not hard or bulbous veg. Cap/handle doesn't grip veg at all, so held by hand and turned pencil sharpener style - but caution needed not to slice fingers on blades which come to top of very tiny funnel, also tried to stick fork in end of veg and turn with that - but care needed not to catch prongs on blades. Very wasteful - lots of non-spiralised veg remains to be sliced afterwards by knife - so why bother? Also tricky to clean - cut fingers - hazard!
tricky to use and clean. lots of wastage
I found this spiraliser difficult to use and very difficult to get clean. It did make lovely strands but there was a lot of wastage because it leaves an approx 6mm in diameter core of the vegetable that you're using untouched so you're left with a long stick of carrot for example in addition to your spiralled carrot. I'd rather pay more and have something easier and safer to use and to clean with less wastage. Overall I wouldn't recommend it as a gadget needs to be beautiful to look at and to use.
I already own a large spiralizer, which is very good but I keep it in the garage. This one is not quite as good but it is just SO handy to keep in the kitchen. It works best on courgettes etc but there is quite a bit of waste. However, the pros outweigh the cons!
