For Italians living without pasta is not an option and so we set ourselves the objectives of creating a gluten free pasta with the knowledge that Garofalo pasta is synonymous with the experience of taste.
In 2013 the recipe was carefully developed using corn, brown rice and quinoa. Garofalo Gluten Free Pasta is formulated specially for Coeliacs and the gluten intolerant, but also gives a taste opportunity for everyone and not just those on a gluten free diet.
Garofalo Gluten Free pasta is not produced in its factory in Gragnano because of the risk of contamination with pasta containing wheat. Our gluten free pasta is bronze drawn to obtain a rough surface to the pasta for the sauce to grip the pasta.
In 2013 we launched with 5 pasta shapes chosen because they worked well with the recipe, now there are 11 gluten free pasta shapes in our range, giving great choice as well as taste!

Very nice
I'm not gluten intolerant so didn't know what to expect when ordering this, but this is now one of my favourite pasta's. Perfect when cooked al dente and in my opinion doesn't make you feel as heavy as after regular pasta's. I will only be buying gluten free pasta going forward. Recommend this!
turned to mush
I'm normally a huge fan of this brand, but this particular pasta turned into mushy bits when cooked. I ended up throwing the lot away, it was inedible. Bummer.

Nicest GF pasta and this is the best shape in my opinion.

Again, like their 'Anellini' small pasta, I was quite impressed with the texture and taste of this GF pasta. I am happy I found this range as the other one that is equally good is the Rummo ones, but Ocado does not stock them unfortunately
Favourite gluten free pasta
This tastes really good. I used it to make a pasta cauliflower broccoli pasta bake with a piquant cheese sauce and a crunchy cheese topping. It works well with any sauce.
