Love this margarita mix. I didn't find it too sweet, as some reviewers said. It just makes a real banging cocktail with tequila and a splash of triple sec or cointreau. Haven't tried freezing it yet. That may take it to the next level!! Highly recommended!
How does that old song go?
...I've grown accustomed to your taste...? I drink Margaritas year round and there are mighty good, from scratch, margarita makers as I've consumed a few and don't I know it. In the meantime I like the Funkin mix when one of those extraordinary people has not materialised. I say test it on your own first, teaspoon of, the first tastes are of lemon, lime and then sweetness. Could it be better, yes but I do like it, I taste fruit, I taste something that resembles a margarita pre made mix. Funkin, you could try a bit harder, I agree but I have yet to conjure up a better mix on my own. It's borderline and the sayers of nay may over take me.
Really, really sickly sweet. So disgusting that I poured the whole carton down the sink. If you really think this is a basis for a margarita, you are not really a margarita drinker.
I really love my cocktails a little sweeter and this mix is a great combination of sweet and sour - just add a good dose of tequila and triple sec and ta da! You have yourself a DELICIOUS Margarita!! Highly recommend it - it's so much better than the lurid green mixes you get in other supermarkets. Plus we got 12 rounds of frozen margaritas from this carton so it was great value!!
Really disappointing. It's nothing like a margarita and as a previous reviewer has written it's far too sweet. I feel like asking for a refund it's so short of the mark. Have just thrown the rest of the carton away - which pained me - but I know I won't use it again.
Way too sweet
Put my teeth on edge. Might work if diluted with soda or lemonade but then it wouldn't be a margarita
