There are better options
Finnebrogue bacon is way better than standard offerings. It is thinner than Helen Brownings. It leaves a pan residue that burns too readily (alternative pans were used, it’s the bacon not the pan). For preservative free I prefer Spoilt Pig bacon. A shame really because Finnebrogue Wagyu Burgers are amazeballs and I expected better.
Amazing
Absolutely flavourful and wonderful bacon, it will be a bit different to the usual nitrate infested stuff but then so is brown rice Vs white rice. Strongly suggest grilling under a medium grill (180C) which will crisp it up nicely as opposed to frying. Thoroughly recommend.
Taste the difference
This bacon proves all bacon is not the same. Far superior and not overly pricey. I’m sticking to this from now on as it’s less salty, has less water (meaning no terrible spitting), no nitrites and - best of all - tastes fab.
Perfect taste
Not over powering and a consistent flavour. We love it.
Great tasting bacon
This is the best bacon I've had in quite some time. The slices are a decent size, there are no nitrates, and it isn't pumped with enough water to refill a reservoir, so it doesn't shrink. Will definitely become my go-to bacon!
Not good!
Had a really funny smell and taste. Don’t waste your money
