Over the years, Ive tried loads of different extra virgin olive oils. This one is my favourite.
Not bad flavour, awful bottle.
The flavour is not bad. When on sale, for something under £6/litre, it might be worth it. The worst thing was the bottle, the "dripless" label on it is a fat lie and it's very difficult to control the amount of oil being served.
Great taste and it comes in a glass bottle
Olive oil should never be stored in plastic bottles - olive oil is generally acidic and therefore will not keep as well in a plastic bottle - No possible health issues with glass bottles which isnt always the case with plastic bottles.
I am a fan of unfiltered and authentic ex virgin olive oil but the bitterness is not the characteristic one you expect. It is unpleasant and ruined all my salads
this was a good buy. nice flavour
Good for every day
First of all, this 750ml bottle is glass. The 1 litre bottle is plastic. I have dropped the glass one and it broke - the bottle can get slippery if the oil dribbles a bit. Personally, I still prefer the glass. Now the contents. I try not to be an olive oil snob. I do prefer extra virgin, because I believe it is healthier and that includes for cooking. Yes really! This is a blended oil, which means it isn't expensive and that is perfect for me for every day cooking. I will put it into dressings if I don't have a tasty, expensive, extra virgin available. I quite like the taste, it is mild and a little fruity, but not overpowering. I will keep buying this regularly - we get through a lot of olive oil, because my three boys seem to prefer to cook with it over anything else.
