Used to be good
Only the top two steaks looked like the picture - the ones underneath had thick veins of fat running throughout. The only consolation was that I didn't pay the full price
Tastes like paper and uneven cuts
it's good for steaks to have some fat as it gives a nice flavor when cooking, but these steaks were 1/3 fat.
Meat was rancid
I went to cook this meat on the day it was delivered (lucky I didn't freeze it!) and it smelt rancid when I opened the pack. This was also 3 days before the use by date - not impressed! This is the first meat I've ever ordered from Ocado that has been unusable. Avoid!
These were delicious roasted in the over with a spoonful of apple sauce over the top. Tasted lovely and of good quality. No chewy bits.
