Understand what you're buying
I note the previous reviews of these and have to say people do need to go research on these things. This is not green washing, they are made with 65% recycled plastic. I've always bought these and known that the "biodegradable" myth with dog poo bags was just that but was happy to see they are made with recycled plastic. Biodegradable just means they break down into smaller particles if certain conditions are met and it still takes a very long time. it doesn't have to be biodegradable to be eco friendly in fact if that's the only thing you're looking for you're probably buying the wrong thing. I recently listened to a radio 4 podcast on the subject the conclusion of which was that biodegradable poo bags was rubbish (pun intended) and compostable only work in set conditions. The conclusion was buy bags that have a high rate of recycled plastic in them which these do. They are also the thickest and best we have found to pick up poo with.
Greenwashing of the worst kind
These bags aren't biodegradable. So you're paying top dollar for single use plastic bags, packaged as if they're good for the environment. ("Earth Rated"? I mean...) Don't be tricked like I was. Ocado should not be selling this product.
