Awkward to hold
I am posting this review so those with smaller hands, or who have difficulty opening jars or grasping things, are aware that these glasses are unusually heavy, even when empty, and their shape makes them difficult to hold. I am wary of using mine because my grip isn't what it was. Having said that, I agree with other reviewers that they are excellent glasses. Pity they aren't shaped to make them comfortable to hold.
Very Nice Glass
These are a very nice glass to drink from they are short and sturdy, with a nice amount of weight. They are not etched inside to create bubbles, perfect for real ale.
I've been using these for a few weeks now, and am very pleased. I like a solid tumbler -- not something that feels like it will break under the least pressure. I'm not a particularly clumsy person, but have a horror of shattered glass, so these seemed like just the thing. Sure enough, tonight I dropped one, 3/4 full of water, on the granite worktop. Basically, it bounced! Water everywhere, of course, but not so much as a chip on my tumbler. Fantastic.
Unbelievable but one of these was dropped on our patio & it didn't break. Really good glasses, been in the dishwasher 100s of times & dont cloud.
Good glass, but not a pint.
Sturdy and attractive, but wouldn't hold a pint. It's more like a 500ml glass, rather than 568ml.
excellent value pint glass
Heavy, stable glass which is perfect for a pint. Looks good with Guinness in!
