Preparation and Usage

We call it spag bol over here
Cooking Instructions:
1. Fry 400g of mince for 5-10 mins until sizzly and brown
2. Pop open the Dolmio, stir it in, let it simmer for another 5 mins
3. Pour all over your favourite type of pasta, we recommend 100g dry per person
4. Sprinkle cheese.
Dish up the delish and share the love

Instructions

Brown about 350g of mince for at least 5 minutes, until the juices run clear. Add your jar of sauce, bring back to the boil whilst gently stirring. Serve with spaghetti. Easy! Serves 4

What\x27s happened this sauce!

Having bought this sauce many times in the past, I was shocked at how much it has been watered down, there is no thickness to it anymore just a watery consistency and it doesn't taste good either. I won't repurchase shame as it was one of our favourites.

Convenience in a jar for lazy days.

I use this sauce for quick, minimum effort Spag Bol using Quorn mince and all my family enjoy it. I add a few bay leaves a box of mushrooms and usually some fresh garlic too, I let the sauce simmer with these additional ingredients until the mushrooms are almost cooked and then I add the Quorn and heat for a further 8 minutes or so whilst the pasta is boiling. Ok, it is not like a traditional Ragu sauce as served in Italy, but it is not trying to be, it is a convenience product. If you do not like the taste of strong onion and garlic, don't buy a product that is 'intense' with these flavours, buy a plain one.

Spag Bol became Picked Onion Monster Munch!!

Firstly I would have given this no stars but Ocado don't allow that! This has to be the worst sauce we have ever used to make a Spag Bol! It actually makes your food taste like picked onion monster munch.....and not in a good way! And even worse the tainted taste and smell stays in your taste buds for hours even after brushing!! Completely put off our food! DO NOT BUY!!!!

Tasty

We really enjoyed this, a nice whiff of garlic and visible chunks of tomato. A good basic sauce. I added some herbs, but that is personal preference
