Each sachet of Dioralyte has been carefully designed to contain the perfect balance of essential electrolytes for your body’s well-being and Glucose (sugars) to help your body absorb the electrolytes and water efficiently.

Preparation and Usage
Please read the enclosed leaflet carefully before use.
Directions:
Dissolve contents of one Dioralyte sachet in 200ml (approx. 7 fl oz) of drinking water.
Use fresh drinking water for adults and children.
For infants, and where drinking water is unavailable, the water should be freshly boiled then cooled.
The solution should be made up immediately before use.
If refrigerated the solution may be stored for up to 24 hours, otherwise any solution remaining one hour after reconstitution should be discarded.
Dioralyte must only be reconstituted with water and to the volume stated. A lesser or greater dilution may result in electrolyte imbalance.
Dosage:
Adults:
Dissolve the contents of one or two sachets in 200ml or 400ml fresh drinking water after each loose motion
Children:
Dissolve the contents of one sachet in 200ml fresh drinking water after each loose motion.
Infants:
Under medical supervision only.
Use boiled and cooled water to make up the sachets
Make up the drink just before taking.
Throw way any remaining drink after 1 hour or 24 hours if stored in a refrigerator.
Always read the information provided on the packaging and enclosed Patient Information Leaflet before taking this medicine.
When vomiting is present with the diarrhoea, it is recommended that small amounts be taken frequently.

If you are suffering from intestinal obstruction, diabetes, kidney or liver failure, or are on a low potassium or sodium diet, ask your doctor or pharmacist before using Dioralyte.
If the illness is not improving within 24-48 hours consult your doctor.
Infants under the age of 2 years with diarrhoea should be seen by a physician as soon as possible.

Vile, vile, vile. Choose O.R.S. instead
It does work but no one in the family can bear this stuff. If we are using it for vomiting it actually causes more vomiting. Cant understand use of blackcurrant as that is supposed to irritate the bladder. Mercifully Ocado are stocking O.R.S. and, while they do, Ill never buy this stuff again.
