History

Regional Information
Situated on the perfectly suited North Downs close to Dorking, the vineyards of Denbies Wine Estate showcase the ideal geological features benefiting the site. Based on chalky, south-facing slopes, the vineyard sits in a protected valley, allowing for optimum heat and sunshine exposure. The vineyards are dry farmed (un-irrigated) and low yielding (around 15HL/Ha).

Vinification Details
The individual red grape varieties were gently pressed to achieve an
elegant pink hue. Cool fermented at 15oC, the ferment was stopped
before completion by refrigeration, in order to capture some of the
natural sweetness in the grapes.

Been drinking this for over 20 years
Ive been buying this wine from Denbies for more years than I can remember (we lived in Surrey) so we would get in the car and spend many happy days there. We were there last week and of course I bought some Rose Hill. Im beyond happy that Ocado are now stocking Denbies brilliant wine. Rose Hill is very refreshing easy drinking. You can taste the fruit and has a light creamy finish. I urge you to give it a try.
