I do not recommend
Smell disgusting
No best by date
How strange you have taken the best b4 date off. I ordered then a couple of weeks and they had a date. I’m a bit weary now as they seemed frozen.
Beautiful eggs.
They cook so well and are delicious. used them for scrambled, fried, boiled, and poached. Next up is crêpes.
Because they are high welfare
They get a high rating and recommendation from me, but I've felt somewhat uneasy about a couple of them. This is my first trial of this brand. Yolks have disintegrated upon impact with the bowl. Whites have had cloudy shapes, and/or been extremely runny in part. I think my decision to go organic for the sake of the hens is only right, but I am still looking for a reliable organic egg.
yellow yolks
These eggs used to be so fresh with rich orange yolks. All of a sudden the eggs are less fresh and the yolks are yellow. Changed to a different brand unfortunately.
Good mixed weight eggs.
Quality is good, animal husbandry appears good. Large eggs are painful for hens to lay I read in an article, causing them to cry out in pain. I’m sure, like me, you wouldn’t like that. Hence I stopped buying large eggs and now buy mixed weight, as it’s more natural.
