Daylesford Organic Earl Grey Fruit Cake is made by hand on our farm, plump vine fruits, sour cherries and citrus peel soacked in fragrant tea

All of our cakes are made in our farm’s organic bakery using the most delicious, quality organic ingredients. We've been farming organically for over 35 years with a simple passion for real food. We believe organic is better for our health, our animals and the environment; and of course always tastes better.

Under cooked

I've had this cake before and it was good. This time it was barely cooked, apart from the very ends. It was very squidgy and doughy. I had to put it in the oven to make it edible. The flavour was good, but at this price I won't risk buying it again as I don't want to have to bake it myself.

I was very wary of ordering this because of reviews that said it was dry and crumbly. However mine was moist and delicious. A good fruit cake lovely with a bit of butter

Disappointing

Doesnt have the remotest taste of Earl Grey,which was the only reason I bought such an expensive cake. Its very hard to find an EG cake to buy anywhere. It’s ok with a cuppa but nothing special and definitely not worth the hefty price tag

a collection of fruit and crumbs loosely held together which cannot be successfully sliced. don't waste your money

This was absolutely delicious. Really moist and packed with sultanas with a delicious marmalade topping. I didnt think a shop bought cake could be this tasty!
