Our Love For Food Inspires Us To Go Further
We've been farming organically for over 35 years, meaning our animals enjoy their natural grass and forage-based diet, growing into strong and healthy animals, free from unnecessary chemicals, antibiotics and GM feed.
We choose British breeds who thrive in their native landscape and encourage healthy biodiversity on our farm. We avoid waste of any kind, so manure and kitchen waste compost are returned to the soil as rich natural fertilisers. We have built our own abattoir to ensure the highest animal welfare and reduced food miles, which results in better tasting meat, and we spread our message far beyond the boundaries of our own fields.
Each step of our journey is made with a conscience, and a love for food.

low fat alternative to beef burgers
I grilled these, unlike beef burgers, these were risky as they almost fell apart when loading on to the grill pan, but this only happened to one of them. They grilled well, nice with a sourdough muffins with caramelized mushrooms and onions on. Too much salt in the seasoning though, sea salt and salt in the ingredients, lay off it, not needed. Pleas take away the sugar aswell, perhaps add organic onion powder instead which has its own sweetness.
Handy quick dinner
Its not often you can find organic chicken burgers with no additives/emulsifiers. They are pricey but I guess you get what you pay for. I freeze them 2 at a time so theyre available on standby. Great by themselves and diced into tacos.
Contain wheat
As this is a premium product, I'd expect more consideration to be taken over the ingredients. Cheap fillers such as wheat are not used by many other suppliers, but Daylesford products often contain wheat. Please replace with a GF alternative for those of us who avoid it. Otherwise, the rest of the family has found this to be a tasty product with a good amount of seasoning.
Yummy
Made BBQ burgers last weekend and these were delicious!
Overseasoned Flavour
If I am not making my own burgers and I want a prepared standard (non-flavoured) burger then I don't want it highly seasoned. I want to be able to add my own flavour. The flavoured seasonings are just too high on this burger and it overpowers the taste of the chicken, which is disappointing. Salt and pepper and at best a smidgeon of nutmeg. These contain yeast, sugar, sea salt, white and black pepper, nutmeg, onion powder and coriander.
delicious
these are delicious and make a quick and easy dinner for busy weekdays, the kids loved them too.
