Superb

Worth every penny, its like an old fashioned cheese with a wonderful strong flavour and great texture. Although its quite expensive I would rather eat less cheese and just have this, the flavour is so good you dont need much at a time anyway.

wax wrap

Lovely flavour but would not buy again because its wrapped in black wax which is hard to remove not a fan

Sharp and tangy

A good old fashioned sharp cheddar ideal for cheese on toast. Found I used less cheese per slice of toast than my usual Davidstow as it's that much stronger. Wax wrapped.

Good but Expensive

Delicious cheese with a good texture but expensive even on offer. The black wax stuck on my knife and I had to use boiling water to get it off. Plus you are paying a premium price for something that is waste as it is part of the weight. Would buy again but price off putting.

Flavourless

Was so looking feared to this - left out at room temperature -,had the wine ready ............cut open , perfect crumbly texture ........what could possibly go wrong ? Bland , mild , pointless pap !! No flavour what so ever Gutted

Creamy Davidstowe mature taste but matured to be a little grainy and the combination is delightful.f
