Where did the flavour go?

Ive recently discovered Cosmic Crisp apples in Mallorca and they were absolutely amazing. The best apple Ive ever eaten. I was so excited to see them here and surprised to read another review saying they were tasteless. I bought some anyway and I can only agree with the other reviewer. Beautiful texture, but no flavour. These have come from Italy and are smaller than those I had in Spain. Maybe Ocado can look at sourcing a Spanish version?

Storage problems?

We liked the taste and crunch of the apples but they had an extremely strong musty smell that persisted a little despite peeling. The mouldy musty smell was undoubtedly the result of where/how they were stored. Might try again when new season apples arrive.
