Fantastic Additive-Free Pittas
Its been my mission this year to replace our home food products with those whose ingredients I can 1) understand without googling, and 2) could ultimately have in our cupboard. These pittas are soft and filling. We have them fresh out of the bag for sandwiches, toasted up and cut into wedges with hummus, or used as a base for homemade pizza. Yes, they do go mouldy quickly, but thats due to the lack of preservatives to keep them shelf-stable for weeks. An easy fix - pop them into the freezer after delivery, pull out and defrost or toast as needed.
the best pittas
Always fresh and tasty - so much better than other packaged pittas
Mouldy after 1 day
Sadly after just eating 1pitta these were covered in mould spores and I had to throw them away
good taste but mouldy before expiry date
The texture and taste is way better than other pittas, but unfortunately these go off very quickly - last batch (all 4 packs!) went mouldy before use by date, and only the morning after being delivered! Unreliable, so will not be buying again.
Shrunk
These used to be great, and they used to be huge! Now they're tiny, and sometimes smaller than normal pittas. Disappointing.
high quality
These are the best ever pittas and the only ones we buy. Yes, we have also had them go mouldy on us after a few days but that is likely due to the fact that they do not contain a whole bunch of chemicals and preservatives in them. we simply pop them in the freezer when we buy them and then toast one when we want one. They are soft, fluffy and just really good.
