Instructions
Oven cook - From Chilled. Electric 220°C, Fan 200°C, Gas mark 7 (+5 mins) 25 mins
Please don't grill!
1 Pre-heat oven. Remove the film but leave the carbonara in its wooden tray.
2 Place on a baking tray in the centre of the oven (away from any element or flame) and cook for 25 mins.
3 Stir thoroughly covering all the spaghetti with the sauce. Leave to stand for 2 mins before serving. Make sure it's piping hot.
This recipe includes some raw ingredients and isn't suitable for microwaving. If frozen, defrost thoroughly before cooking.

this is not carbonara
If you gave this to an Italian, they would be very confused - its very far from what they understand to be carbonara. It tastes more like white onion with cream pasta or white sauce. The addition of onions and onion powder is overpowering and the dominant flavour. Too much cream / white sauce. And the pasta is very soft and mushy. Not enough lardon.

lovely carbonara
This was nice - no watery sauce here. I cooked in the air fryer by wrapping it completely in foil, and it came out perfectly. I gave it a good stir before serving with a fresh side salad. Yum yum.

DISAPPOINTING
