This is NOT espresso, but a weak, sour coffee
I thought I would get a dark, strong and flavoursome espresso, but as soon as I opened the bag and noticed a lack of coffee smell and saw that the beans where light brown instead of black, my doubts appeared. And after the first brew in my bean-to-coffee machine the doubts were confirmed: a very weak coffee with a high acidity (i.e. sour coffee), reminding me of the dreadful thing called "morning coffee". As soon as I got hold of some proper espresso, I tried mixing the two, as a way to use up the bag, but the sourness still came through, so in the end I threw the rest away. Life is too short to endure bad coffee just to save the £5-6 worth of beans that remained.
Kick Ass Coffee with Smooth Finish
Simply great coffee.
Great coffee!
I always enjoy this coffee, lovely flavour and never bitter, unlike some of the far more expensive beans that Ive tried.
A delicious bean to coffee
This is a find for me, a smooth morning bean to coffee which is not at all bitter. My Italian husband agrees with this as he is a great coffee drinker and now I shall continue to buy it and recommend as a morning and breakfast coffee. Super.
coffee lover
The taste of this coffee is so good. Not bitter at all. Perfect for espresso (that's how I like my coffee) very smooth and because I storage them in the freezer, it is always fresh.
Nice but nothing special
Quite disappointed with this coffee, used in our bean to cup espresso machine and this just makes a very mellow coffee, but no special flavours and just produces a very generic tasting bland coffee. On the up side, it is smooth and not at all bitter. However there are better coffees for running through your espresso machine.
