Vile
This was so dry with an odd aftertaste. Even after adding my favourite ice-cream I couldn’t enjoy it - binned!

Disappointing.
The sponge wasn't dry as some reviewers had but the cake was a huge disappointment. The chocolate on the top was all in the box, and tasted like cheap cooking chocolate - not like Cadburys at all. The caramel flavour wasn't that nice and the outer chocolate although nicer that the chocolate topping did not taste like the chocolate in a bar. Husband is not fussy and although he ate it he wouldn't want this again either.

cutting a nightmare, chocolate fell off as serving. it was dry and tasteless...disappointed

This was the perfect size cake for my husband for his birthday. Not too sweet but a lovely treat.

Dry
Such a bland and dry cake. You can taste the Cadbury chocolate flavour and hints of caramel, but the dryness puts you off.
