slightly better than not wearing gloves.

Ive wore these for the first time today to cut the lawn and pull a few weeds. When I finished my fingers were stained green and my fingernails were dirty. Not heavy duty enough.

Very Good

I wear these sturdy gloves when I am puttering around the garden. Whether it's to water with a hose, using a finger to create a spray over the plants and lawn, or to protect my hands from the thorned, pernicious ivy, when I in vain probably, cut it back from, and out of, other plants these do the job. I use the hose to wash them as well as the laundry machine to wash them and they are still going strong after a few months. I don't put them in the dryer. They also act as a sun block which my older hands require now. GOOD GLOVES.
