History
Rietvallei Wine Estate counts among South Africa’s oldest family-owned wine estates and was one of the first wine farms established in the picturesque Robertson Wine Valley.
Regional Information
Robertson is one of South Africa's leading wine-producing areas. The region's close proximity to the ocean ensures the warm climate is cooled by oceans breezes, allowing the grapes to ripen slowly. As a result, the wines are rich and intense wines whilst retaining a balanced level of acidity.

A little sour

Not what I would expect from a Sauvignon. Ended up throwing half down the sink.

INCONSISTENT

I loved this wine and regularly bought it, liking its delicate flavour. but 2 recent bottles tasted very strong as if theyd been left open for a week and after a few sips I decided there was something wrong with it. Sadly its put me off it completely.

Smooth and perfect for summer

I really like this one , its nicely smooth and perfect for sitting out in the sun after work with a glass or two ! Its not as fresh as some but that works for me.

Subtle Flavour

This is great as its vegan but the taste is very subtle for a Sauvignon Blanc. Its very smooth & perfect for quaffing or at a summer party, but doesnt have a huge amount of depth. I would buy only when on offer.

great easy drinking wine, i buy it when on offer though as otherwise price a bit high
