With tea lights you bring cosiness into your home! These Bolsius tea lights in a bag of 45 pieces have a long burning time, up to 8 hours. Every Bolsius candle is made with craftsmanship and with an eye for quality. As a result, the tea lights do not soot and there is no smoke or smoke when you burn them. The cotton wick, also called candle pit, is braided in such a way that you always have a stable flame. The tea lights are not only functional but also give atmosphere if you put them in a nice tea light holder. Made without palm oil and with natural vegan wax. Enjoy the magic of natural light.

Best Tealights

Having used both brands last winter, I found that these burn much better than Price's,

NOT sustainable: made of paraffin, a fossil fuel

I don't know why these are entitled 'Sustainable Tealights'. The packaging says they're up to 75% paraffin. Paraffin is highly unsustainable as it is derived from crude oil, a fossil fuel. This is greenwashing on the part of Ocado, as the word sustainable is not used on the packaging or the manufacturer's website. Just because something has 25% plant based wax from Europe and no palm oil or animal fat, it's not OK. You need to look at what it actually does contain, which Ocado have omitted from their description. The candles burn OK, and being taller than other tea lights burn for longer: there is less wax wastage. They're probably a little less lopsided than some, but the flame is also a bit smaller. If they didn't have paraffin in them I'd buy them again. But they do. If you care about sustainability, don't buy.
