Hands down the best vegan Worcestershire sauce on the market. Tastes virtually identical to Lea and Perrins, but ethical and sustainable for the planet. The perfect bite of heat from the chilli. Sweeter than Bonsan, which is a bonus. Usually lavishly rain over Pieminister jackfruit pie, or M&S mushroom pie, but also makes a killer Caesar dressing... I mix Hellmans vegan mayo with fresh crushed garlic, lemon juice, copious fresh cracked black pepper, and a generous splash of Biona and vegan fish sauce. Then stir though finely grated pungent plant based Cathedral cheese, using my parmesan grater. Beyond gorgeous, drizzled liberally over whole gem lettuce, sheared lenthways, with fanned avocado and a sprinkling of crushed walnuts.
What happened?!!
I've been buying this for over a decade. I did a multi buy a while ago when it was veggie rather than vegan so there's been a gap. The new version is so weak compared with the old version that it's barely worth buying. I'll now be looking for a different brand. Very disappointed :-(
Yay to gf Worcester sauce
Delighted to finally have a gf Worcester sauce! Makes my bolognese so much tastier!
Clue is in the name
I had this as a substitute for Worcestershire sauce. This is called Worcester Sauce and tastes nothing like Worcestershire sauce. It is also over priced. Managed to get through the bottle by adding a good dollop of HP to mask the flavour. Would not buy again.
Great replacement
But so so expensive
horrid
I did not like this at all. It contains orange juice which I could taste! I usually buy Chippa worcester sauce in Morrisons which is Much nicer and cheaper too. This is very expensive. HP sauce is a good substitute .
