Perfect in every way!
Biona’s Organic Wholegrain Spelt Pasta range and Wholewheat Pasta range are outstanding! Both have an exquisite, glorious nutty flavour and beautiful firm “al dente” texture which they retain throughout cooking – the depth of flavour and texture is exceptional. All are a lovely deep bronze colour and are organic, natural and nutritious. My absolute favourites by far are the spelt pastas because spelt is easier on the stomach and easier to digest than wheat and is even more nutritious than wheat - some people who cannot eat wheat can even tolerate spelt. Spelt also has a nuttier, deeper flavour than wholewheat. As expected from this excellent brand, these pasta ranges are outstanding, exquisite, exceptional - as well as being organic and supremely nutritious. Perfect in every respect!
Pretty Good
Really nice spaghetti, but it will not convince those who prefer white spaghetti, it does not taste or look the same as some others have tried to say below.
Excellent whole grain spaghetti
Lovely quality pasta. We really like the Biona Organic range of pasta and the spaghetti doesnt disappoint. The wholewheat has a great texture and taste. We cook for a couple of minutes less that the packet states then transfer the nearly cooked pasta to the sauce to finish cooking. This allows the pasta to take on some of the flavour of the sauce and really elevates the taste. If the sauce needs thinning slightly just add a bit of pasta cooking liquid.
The best wholewheat spaghetti
My partner does not like 'brown spaghetti' but this is just like eating white! There is no dry rubbery taste - this is the best spaghetti I've ever eaten at home and it's much better for you! Highly recommended.
