Biona Organic Blackstrap Molasses is a natural by-product of the cane sugar refining process. All the nutrients from the sugar and its residue are extracted, leaving you with a rich, sweet molasses. It has a lower sugar content than any other sugar cane product and contains essential vitamins and minerals, such as Calcium and Potassium. This unrefined syrup sweetener is perfect for baking, stirring into porridge and using in savoury cooking.

Tasty but bottle breaks easily

It hardens and broke the bottle with first time use.

Prefer in a jar

Good product but I prefer the molasses in a jar as the squeezy becomes difficult to use once you get past half way it’s too thick and sticky a product for squeezy bottle in my opinion I ended up wasting quite a bit as I couldn’t be bothered battling to get it out .

Good taste, easy to dispense

Very pleased with this, the other brand in a glass jar gets too hard/crystal after a while so a smaller, easier size is perfect.

Great stuff but hardly ever in stock

I use this in malt loaf and it is really good. I also sneakily eat a tiny bit. It's lovely. I do just wish it was in stock more. I've only managed to buy it once in 2 months. Please get it back in stock Ocado!

would never normally try this type of product, but went well in baked cookies for the kids

Too bitter

Convenient to use. I normally don't buy molasse, but I had this to review. I made several sorts of biscuits. My sons only liked one of them, they others were far too bitter, so not a winner for us.
