Beyond awful
I normally choose the BFree brown loaf but decided to try the white sourdough. The colour of the bread is brilliant while, the texture like store bought cake, tastes of nothing excepting maybe wallpaper paste and the dough coated my teeth in a very unpleasant way. This is the first bad review I have ever given after years of being an Occado customer, but this bread is an expensive disaster. For the first time ever I threw new bread away.
Breaks up
Nice flavour and good consistency. Tends to break up or fall apart.
stodgy bread
No resemblance to sourdough at all, dense loaf, broke in half, tasteless cardboard. Honestly this was probably the worst bread Ive had in a while. Will not buy Again.
Disappointing.
Over the last few years, GF bread production has improved so much. I expected great things (because this brands half-bake baguettes are superb), but this bread taste and feels like GF from 5 years ago. I bought it because I like this brands products and thought the price was good (relatively speaking, lets not make the comparison to normal bread). It had a strange taste, tiny slices, many large holes and broken slices, a dry, dense structure. Very disappointing.
