The world's most expensive spice, due to the labour involved, our Spanish Saffron is hand-picked in Castilla-La-Mancha. Saffron is the stigma of the saffron crocus, the three tiny strands within each flower are hand-plucked with tweezers with 150 flowers needed to yield 1g of Saffron.

Beautiful product

Take a deep breath and admit you're part of the middle class. You won't regret it. This saffron is beautifully fragrant, and a very small amount will add a depth of delicious flavour to your dish. Excellent value rather than buying small amounts.
