It really works
My husband read an article in the newspaper about this product; Kimberly Reardon, who had terrible eczema all over her body and face, this worked where other products had not and it worked quickly. To say I was sceptical was an understatement - but I was desperate and in the midst of yet another bad flare up. So I bought it. Within 24 hours the imporvement was dramatic. So, to give context here, becuase if you are suffering from anything like this, then you want to know if it really can and will work for you, plus at £20 a tub, not cheap. I suffer from various skin issues, which a costly visit to a private dermatologist confirmed! Are based around fungal/inflammatory issues. Fist we have eczema (mostly around the eyes), seborrheic dermatitis (mainly on scalp but when bad can affect my eyebrows, behind ears, side of nose etc). I have even had a couple of flare ups of impetigo. This has been ongoing since I was 18, but thankfully not plagued with it all the time, just flare ups across the years due to stress and tiredness triggering it and now of late hormonal changes. UGH! I have had all sorts of creams prescribed; Trimovate, hydrocortisone, daktacort, daktarin, fucidin... none of which you really want to be putting on your eyelids and none that really work that well or quickly. So you see an all natural ingredients which you would far rather slather all over your delicate eyes than some skin thinning steroid, but we are programmed to think chemicals must be better than natural, right?! So I got it, and the flare up I had been enduring for over 3-4 weeks, using prescribed creams, cleared up dramatically within a couple of days! I am now ordering my third 120ml tub. I have also bought from this range, the smaller tub (handbag), the pump moisturising lotion (hands and wrists - excellent cream but not as good for eczema as slavation) and the scalp oil (use the pump to directly put oil on scalp & massage in - this has given relief and definitely helped but not taken away the seborrheic dermatitis, again thankfully this only flares up now and again - but if you too suffer, then Nizoral shampoo is brilliant works after first/second use and I also use on my face which has been a revelation. So one thing I would suggest is when applying the skin salvation take a little of the "paste" and warm it up by rubbing between your fingers before applying, then it goes on much easier. I use it every day and night, and even under make up. I can also say my flare ups since starting using this last year, have been far less often or as severe. Only thing I would say is being a natural product the tubs have differed in texture (some smoother / gritter feeling) and in colour. But it all still works!
The original and the best
Discovered this a few years ago when my skin had a random extremely bad reaction - picked it up by chance desperate for something to help and was blown away that in about 24 hours, my skin was back to normal. It’s magic and is now my go-to
Tried and failed
Didn't work, not nice to rub in, and it was still itchy. Bought another brand which worked much better.
bit dry
Not bad. Great ingredients but very stiff as a paste, on par with hair clay. Hard to rub in for those with broken skin already. Appreciate the naturalness of the product though.
Balmonds has been a life saver
This product has helped my skin so much only problem is it doesn't last me very long!
Fantastic lip balm
This is the only product Ive found that moisturises and protects my sensitive, peeling lips. Love it.
