really lovely wine
Really lovely wine. Slightly sweet. V nice when very cold. Im a philistine and add an ice cube.
superb
We brought this wine for Christmas day as we are having a curry for lunch not a traditional meal. The family are meeting up and having Christmas dinner on the 23rd instead. We ordered a few bottles and have now had a couple of trial runs. Pinot Gris was the wine choice on Saturday Kitchen with a curry chosen as heaven for the guest star that week and it goes perfectly with the spice. Don't know how one reviewer says it's a dessert wine, it's nothing like dessert wines I've had. It's a 10/10 from me and the wife and recommended this wine to everyone. Cheers.!!
Far Too Drinkable
Im pretty new to Pinot Gris after being recommended by a friend and this is definitely the best so far . Just ordered two more bottles. One for us and one for my lovely friend. I wont drink wine I dont enjoy and my husband and I loved this. This isnt sickly sweet but rich and fruity. Lovely on its own or with food.
Delicious, classic Pinot Gris
Excellent Pinot Gris, fresh, fruity flavour with dry finish. The person rating this one star clearly doesnt know how a Pinot Gris should taste. Will be making this a regular purchase.
Very typical of French Pinot Gris
Some people find it sweet but being French and having tasted many Pinot Gris from France this one is pretty good for the price. If you don't like sweet Pinot Gris, you should opt for Italian once not French
Cloying and sweet
The taste itself may be fine but I'm giving it one star because the description is totally wrong. Tastes more like a dessert or fortified wine
